Japanese giant Panasonic Corp. plans to sell subsidiary Sanyo’s North American television set business to Funai Electric, RTTNews reported. Panasonic and Funai Electric are expected to agree on the value of the deal by the end of the year. The sale of the unit will likely be completed by March 2015.
