Mexico Jobless Rate Falls

Mexico’s unemployment rate was 4.1% in November, down from the 4.6% level registered in the same month of last year, the National Institute of Statistics and Geography, or INEGI, said, Foxnews reported. The jobless rate also came in at 4.1% last month on a seasonally adjusted basis, down 0.2 percentage points from October. The underemployment rate – defined as workers who are willing to work more hours but are unable to do so – was 9.4% in November, well above the 7.9% rate registered in the same month last year, the INEGI said.
