Azeri Price Hikes Artificial

Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Economy and Industry has released a statement regarding the artificial increase in prices, News.az reported. The State Service for Anti-Monopoly Policy and Protection of Consumer Rights under the ministry of economy and industry has strengthened control measures in connection with the increase in prices on the consumer market, artificial deficit of goods and other cases of abuse not related to the change in manat rate. It was reported that the State Service is thoroughly analyzing the situation in the consumer market and if any cases of abuse are detected, measures will be taken, in accordance with the legislation.
