Automaker Ford Motor Co. on Friday reported a 34 percent decline in profit for the third quarter from last year, reflecting lower revenue and volume, RTTNews reported. Ford noted that North America and Asia Pacific were profitable in the quarter, but pre-tax results were lower than a year ago for all of Ford’s Automotive business units, except Middle East & Africa. Net income attributable to Ford for the third quarter was $835 million or $0.21 per share, down from $1.27 billion or $0.31 per share in the year-ago period.
