China Pakistan Economic Corridor project is a game changer for the region in revolutionizing the trade and business through the region of Asia.
Pakistan and China are vigilantly inclined to complete the project sooner. However, the government of Pakistan needs to plan its economic and developmental strategies according to an organized plan to reap the maximum benefits from the CPEC route, Yahoo reported.
President of All Pakistan Business Forum, Ibrahim Qureshi, said, “Nourishing of local business should go in parallel to the CPEC project to realize the future economic gains efficiently.
It is an opportunity for Pakistan to lay the foundations for a mega economy by dealing the very basic factor for the economic growth. Small and medium scale business start-ups, if encouraged and nurtured in a planned way, would increase the pace for Pakistan to achieve a position of economic giant in the region along with the neighbors, China and India.
There are larger possible future prospects to engage with these economies on equal terms where production, services and investment all the options can be exploited to optimum scale of efficiency and effectiveness.”
Qureshi said, it is for the government now to take the matter seriously. Instead of relying on foreign investments only, the government must encourage the business startups and provide local investors with the opportunities on preferential basis.
“APBF has always been extending its support to every positive initiative taken by the government for the business community. And we will continue to bring forward our best effort for materialization of economic growth of our country,” he said.
“APBF has been identifying and engaging vital resourceful organizations across the globe. We have entered into MOUs and agreement of business and trade with foreign investors, business communities and even foreign governments, but simultaneously, we equally believe that local manufacturing of products and provision of services must be ensured for Pakistan.”
