Iraq’s Ministry of Planning announced on Sunday that the inflation index for October decreased by 0.1% compared with September of the previous year, while the annual inflation index, rose 1.6%, confirming that the mentioned survey did not include three Iraqi provinces because of the security situation witnessed in those provinces. The spokesman of the ministry, Abdul Zahra al-Hindawi said in a statement received by Shafaq News, that “the Central Bureau of Statistics of the ministry completed the inflation report for last October in 2015 on the field basis data collected on the prices of goods and services that include food, rent, transportation, communications, health, education and others.
