Britain’s unemployment rate sank to 6.0% in the quarter to the end of August, reaching the lowest point since late 2008, official data showed on Wednesday. The rate for the June-August period compares with 6.2% for the three months to the end of July, AFP quoted the Office for National Statistics (ONS)as saying in a statement.
