The Bank of Russia and the National Bank of Ukraine agreed to press ahead with consultations on bilateral cooperation, a spokesperson for the Russian central bank told RIA Novosti. At the annual IMF meeting, Russia’s central bank chief Elvira Nabiullina and her Ukrainian counterpart Valeria Hontareva discussed financial markets, the country’s banking systems and cooperation in the field of banking supervision.
