The surplus of Ukraine’s trade balance amounted to $2.89 billion in the first half of 2015, higher by $227.9 million, or 8.6%, as compared to the surplus of $2.66 billion in the same period last year, according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, NewsNow reported. The data are presented excluding the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, as well as part of the Anti-Terrorist Operation area. As Ukrainian news agency UNIAN reported earlier, the surplus of foreign trade balance of Ukraine in 2014 amounted to $3.88 billion against the deficit of $8.51 billion recorded in 2013.
