Pak Told to Revise Fiscal Policies

In a post-budget review, senior economists and analysts at the Institute of Policy Studies in Pakistan have urged the government to rethink its fiscal policies for the current financial year, saying it should revise its economic policies by adopting a more growth-oriented approach, AAP reported. The experts noted what they called the “participatory approach” adopted by the government in the formulation of the budget. But they said the majority of suggestions put forward by the parliamentary committee and the business community failed to be incorporated in the forthcoming fiscal scheme.
