The Bank of France confirmed its estimate of 0.3% growth in the French economy for the second quarter on Monday, releasing a survey showing expectations of further gains in both industrial and services activities, Reuters reported. Its business sentiment indicator for the manufacturing industry rose to 99 in May from 98 in April, while the same indicator was flat at 95 in the services sector. In its commentary, the bank said business leaders expected activity in both sectors to grow in June, with a slight pick-up also seen in construction.
