The value of Egypt’s exports to Nile basin countries rose by 15 percent in 2013, state-run agency CAPMAS revealed on Sunday, Ahram Online reported. Exports from Egypt to Sudan, Ethiopia, Uganda, Congo, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi and Eritrea were worth $1 billion in 2013, up from $880 million the year before.
