The base metal prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed mixed Friday. The Copper price closed higher as the speculation that demand would enhance after a report showed the economy expanded at the fastest rate since Y 2011 in the United States, the world’s 2nd-biggest consumer of the metal, China is the No. 1 user, Live Trading reported. Germany’s Gfk consumer climate fell more-than-expected in October, data showed. In a report, research group Gfk said that its index of Germany’s consumer climate fell to 8.3, from 8.6 in the previous month.
