Russia’s Central Bank expects the country’s GDP recovery growth at 5.5-6.3% in 2017, the regulator said in its monetary policy report, Tass said. In its previous forecast, it expected the domestic economy to expand by 0.8% in 2017. “The period of negative growth rates is expected to be longer than in the crisis of 2008-2009 while recovery will be quicker,” the report said.
