Rusatom Overseas, a unit of Russian nuclear power corporation Rosatom, will receive a 49% stake in India’s Gamma Tech to jointly build irradiation sterilization centers in the country, Itar-Tass reported. The companies plan to open first two pilot irradiation centers in the Tamil-Nadu state. Further centers will be opened in the Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Maharashtra states.
