Egypt to Double FDI

Egypt expects to attract $8b of foreign direct investment in the current fiscal year through June, up from $4b last year, Investment Minister Ashraf Salman said, Amwal al Ghad reported. Salman, speaking at a business conference in Dubai, said that the government was aiming to cut its budget deficit to 10% of gross domestic product in 2015 from 15% in the previous year.
