Japan Targets Russian Banks

Japan has extended sanctions against Russia; limiting operations with the securities of some Russian banks and arms exports over its involvement in the Ukraine crisis, according to Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga, RT reported. Japan hasn’t yet specified the Russian lenders that fall under the latest restrictions. The new sanctions announced Wednesday are Japan’s first economic restrictions on Russia.
