Samsung Electronics Co., South Korea’s top tech firm, said Wednesday that it is considering adopting a direct yuan settlement for its shipments to Asia’s biggest economy to reduce costs and currency risks, a move likely to prompt other local companies to follow suit upon the preliminary signing of a Korea-China free trade deal, Yonhap reported.
