UAE Inflation Up 3.7%

Consumer inflation in the United Arab Emirates (UAE)  jumped 3.7% in January, highest since 2009, compared to the same period last year, TradeArabia quoted National Bureau of Statistics as saying. Inflation rate rose 0.7% from December 2014. Housing and utility costs, which account for over 39% of consumer expenses, rose 7.4% from a year earlier and 2.5% from the previous month.
