Uganda Now at B+

Fitch Ratings Agency has upgraded Uganda’s sovereign credit rating to ‘B+’ from ‘B’ with a stable outlook, EABusiness Week reported. This according to the ratings agency is on account of prudent policies supportive to growth and improvements in the country’s fiscal strength, reduction in aid dependence, improved revenue raising capacity and the country’s relatively low debt burden.
