Croatia to Improve Economy

Croatia’s new President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic may have won a narrow victory in January, but she is calling for a wide consensus to improve the country’s beleaguered economy, New Europe reported. Croatia is among the smallest and the poorest members of the European Union. For Grabar-Kitarovic, who is the country’s first ever woman to hold this five-year post, solving the economic crisis is a top priority.
