Turkey C/A Deficit Widens

Turkey’s current account deficit widened more than expected in December, figures from the central bank showed Wednesday, Quick Facts reported. The current account deficit increased to $6.82b from $5.73b in November. The shortfall was expected to widen to $6.79b. Meanwhile, the financial account showed a deficit of $2.2b, less than a $9.996b shortfall seen in November.
