Iran Tourism Development Corporation and government service desks have signed an agreement to collaborate on tourism services with the use of electronic technology. Iran’s cultural heritage, handicrafts, and tourism organization (ICHHTO) will oversee the implementation of the various components of the agreement, according to ICHHTO’s public relations office. Morteza Rahmani Movahed, the tourism deputy of ICHHTO attended the signing ceremony. Both sides committed to provide and develop e-services for the tourism industry such as e-health services, e-payment, online shopping, and information websites, as well as applications for smart phones, using the updated technologies of telecommunication ministry. Other details of the agreement including the conditions and requirements of the collaboration will be decided at a later date in the joint expert working groups.
