Isfahan Province's office of Iran's Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization agreed with a visiting delegation from the Republic of Tatarstan to foster bilateral tourism relations. Isfahan hosted a joint tourism conference on Wednesday, attended by Mohsen Yarmohammadian, tourism deputy at ICHHTO's provincial office, and Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan Sergey Ivanov, who was leading a Tatar delegation of tourism entrepreneurs. In an address to the conference, Yarmohammadian expressed pleasure at the prospect of improved bilateral cooperation, CHTN reported. "Isfahan's tourism industry has grown over the past few years and we are pleased to consider the mutual development of the two tourism sectors in line with Iran's policy of forging relations with new tourism destination countries, especially ancient Asian nations," he said. "Fortunately the provincial and other officials are unanimous that the tourism industry can help resolve many economic problems of the country," Yarmohammadian added.
