Tehran Vintage Car Show Features New Series

The featured collection of classic cars at an ongoing exhibition at Sa'adabad Complex in Tehran has been replaced with a new series in an effort to spice up the show and add variety. Organized by Touring and Automobile Club of Iran, the show is supposed to display new collections every 15 days during the 2-month event. This is the first whole-replacement since the opening of the event on March 22, Mehr News Agency reported. According to TACI, privately owned objects on display include 10 motorcycles and 30 vintage cars dating back over 4 decades. The purpose of the event is mainly to introduce classic cars as part of Iran's cultural heritage while also encouraging the public to protect heritage items. It also aims to raise funds for restoration projects targeting classic car collections kept in Sa'adabad Complex and give support and motivate private owners to take part in such events. The exhibition will run through May 18 at the venue.
