In its winter issue, Gilgamesh heritage and tourism magazine goes over a variety of beliefs and religions within cultural Persia, not just limited to modern-day Iran's political borders.
The quarterly magazine (this time) observes the peaceful coexistence of Zoroastrianism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism, Manichaeism, Christianity and Islam, which have enjoyed followers and holy places within the realm of the Iranian Plateau over centuries.
Gilgamesh International is not only an English language magazine, but also an Iranian cultural product, with an eye on a global audience.
It aims to truly introduce Iran to the world but it also welcomes authors focusing on topics from other continents. Its next volume will be released around Norouz, the Iranian New Year beginning March 21, both at home and abroad and will be available during the spring.
