A flight between the two port cities of Bandar Abbas and Bandar-e Jask in Hormozgan Province was launched on Sunday by Iran's national airline, Iran Air.
According to Mahmoud Amani, the director of Hormozgan's airports' company, the debut flight was scheduled for Feb. 28 but was called off due to adverse weather conditions, according to a press release on airline's website. Therefore, the first flight took off on Sunday by one of Iran Air's recently purchased ATR turboprops.
