UK Targets (P)GCC Tourists

In an attempt to attract tourists from the (Persian)Gulf Cooperation Council countries, the UK's national tourism agency has initiated its latest campaign. Through VisitBritain "I Travel For..." campaign, citizens from the (P)GCC are called on to book a visit to "Find Your Great Britain", Menafn.com reported.  It also presents short movies and storytelling, along with illustrating Britain's landmarks and attractions, to demonstrate what a great trip it would be for tourists.  VisitBritain's director for Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa, Tricia Warwick, explained: "The (P)GCC is an important market for VisitBritain and our new campaign aims to build on the growth we have seen, showcasing that Britain is bursting with fun activities, new adventures and wonderfully unexpected experiences that visitors can't get anywhere else."
