Concurrent with the National Clean Air Day (Jan. 19), the first bike path was launched in Tehran's District 11 on Friday to promote eco-friendly tourism in the capital's historical zone. The track passes through the historical Hassanabad Square and along the Registration Museum, Moqaddam House Museum, Professor Adl's House, Qur'an Museum, Hor Square and Teymourtash's House, which are among the capital's historical structures, Mehr News Agency reported. "Tourism officials are planning Tehran bike tours in the area to tap into the tourism capacities of the metropolis," Nassrollah Abadian, the mayor of District 11, said. Tehran's District 11 also includes Hessar-e Nasseri (Nasseri Fortification), Old Tehran and a number of historical monuments that embody Iranian art, architecture and culture.
