For the first time, an exhibition of Iran's attractions opened at Bohdan and Varvara Khanenko Museum of Arts in Kiev, Ukraine, on Thursday. The exhibition features 70 Iranian historical items, kept in Khanenko Museum, Odessa Art Museum and National Museum of the History of Ukraine, IRNA reported. According to Esrafil Amiri, the head of diplomatic affairs at the Iranian Embassy in Ukraine, the displayed items date back to 12th-19th century. At the opening ceremony, Hanna Rudyck, the head of oriental and Islamic arts, said Ukrainian people are greatly interested in Iran's culture and arts. "I hope the event will be a starting point for Iran-Ukraine cultural collaborations," she said. The exhibition will be open to the public until 12 January 2018.
