Head of Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization (ICHHTO) Masud Soltanifar visited Boshruyeh city in western South Khorasan Province, CHTN quoted public relations office of the provincial ICHHTO as saying. In his visit, Soltanifar inspected a privately funded hotel, mid-construction, requiring a government boost to facilitate its completion. Soltanifar promised a loan of $220,000 to $260,000 on behalf of ICHHTO. Since the hotel site is located on property belonging to the Boshruyeh municipality, no private sector investor has been interested to invest in the project. With Boshruyeh county in deficit of lodging facilities, government support to complete the hotel was seen as appropriate by the ICHHTO head.
