An international culinary course has been organized in Gilan by the provincial Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts, and Tourism Organization (ICHHTO).
The initiative is to promote hospitality services as they are among the main components of the tourism industry, CHTN reports.
The organization invites the cooking enthusiasts to participate in a 5-month course within which they will learn to prepare Iranian traditional meals as well as foods from other nations and countries, said the head of ICHHTO in Gilan, Reza Alizadeh, adding that the course also includes training for making various types of salads, appetizers, and desserts.
A separate part of the course will also focus on food health and hygiene.
The training will be divided in two parts - theory and practical sections. Some high-profile chefs and cuisine experts will teach the participants, he further added.
An international culinary certificate will be awarded to the attendees upon completion of the course.
