A Dutch investment group met with the head of Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization (ICHHTO) Masud Soltanifar to discuss investment feasibility in the country’s tourism sector, ICHHTO’s news agency reported.
Investment opportunities included hotel building and recreational complex development projects in the larger cities such as Tehran, Shiraz, Isfahan, Yazd, Tabriz, as well as the northern cities that are a domestic and foreign tourist hubs.
ICHHTO will offer support to foreign investors to build four- and five-star hotels of well-known, reputable brands, in cities where there is not enough capacity, Soltanifar told the visitors.
Trade relations between Iran and the Netherlands date back to hundreds of years ago and the Dutch have a good reputation in Iranian commerce.
