Zayanderud, the largest river on the Central Iranian Plateau will be revived after three years of drought, IRNA reported.
Following a special program by the Ministry of Energy, the waters behind the dams located above the river will be released on November 6 and so people of Isfahan will watch Zayanderud River flowing again until June 10, 2015.
The program also includes sealing of unauthorized water-wells in provinces of Isfahan and Chaharmahal-o-Bakhtiari for better enrichment of the river basin.
