Iran’s revenue from the export of machine-made rugs was $335 million last year (March 2014–15), IRNA quoted director general of textile and clothing department at the Ministry of Industries, Mines and Trade, Golnar Nasrollahi, as saying. Each year 120 million square meters of machine-made rugs are produced—around 80% of the country’s capacity.
