Summer Holidays Fair will be held in Hijab Hall in Tehran, with dozens of companies and organizations involved in the tourism industry set to participate in the three-day event.

The expo, to be held from June 10 to 12, provides a platform for the participants to present their latest headways pertaining to the industry, IRNA reported.

Participating organizations specialize in different types of tourism, including religious, health and sports tourism, and will showcase their services in various areas such as transportation, banking and insurance, among others.

Travel agencies and tour operators are also expected to have a strong presence at the exhibition. A number of tourism-specific publications will also be showcased at the event.

Specialized exhibitions such as this are an effective way to recognize customers’ needs and familiarize them with quality services offered by organizations in the sector.

They also facilitate interaction between various sectors of the industry, said the director general of the Tehran office of Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization, Rajabali Khosroabadi.

Pointing to the new regulations and structure for holding provincial exhibitions, Khosroabadi added that the new system will prevent unqualified groups or individuals from holding promotional events without prerequisites.
