The 79th Handicraft Exhibition of Florence will open on April 24 with 7 Iranian artisans and handicraft experts from Mazandaran, Tehran, Fars, East Azerbaijan, Ardabil, Gilan, and Alborz participating.A collection of handicrafts including metal work, traditional jewelry and accessories, wood carvings, mosaic, kilim, verni (a type of kilim), and fused glass will be on display, CHN reported. The handicrafts exports office at Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts, and Tourism Organization (ICHHTO) arranged for the Iranian artists’ presence in the exhibition in order to help further develop the industry through presenting Iran’s art and craft on an international level. The annual Florence Handicraft Exhibition is a major event held in Italy in the field of handicraft. The exhibition will run until May 3.
