The Seventh International Tourism Exhibition will be held in Isfahan from April 21-25 after a 5-year hiatus, IRNA reported. Speaking to the news agency, director of public relations department at the Cultural, Handicrafts, and Tourism Organization of Isfahan Shahram Amiri said, “The international exhibition would prepare the grounds for establishing contacts with various organizations involved in the tourism industry.” The exhibition would also provide travel agencies and hoteliers with an opportunity to demonstrate their services to the public, he added. Travel agencies, airlines, hotels, investment firms, and industry-related unions are set to participate in the exhibition. Exhibits with a focus on health tourism and sport tourism are expected to receive a lot of attention. As the cultural capital of Iran, Isfahan is the perfect place to host an exhibition of such grand scale, with 60 participants taking part in the exposition. Experts believe the event will enable potential investors to recognize the value of investing in Iran’s tourism industry.
