Jamshidieh Park is one of the most interesting botanical gardens in north of Tehran. With an area of about 10 hectares, it is located in Niavaran District. The garden has 4 entrances and is bound by Kolakchal Mountain to the north, Dolo garden to the south, Jamshidieh Street to the east and Kolakchal path to the west.
Once a private garden, the mountain park is a beautiful combination of rocks and vegetation. A small lake, stone statues, waterfalls and water displays are among its unique features.
Hundreds of Tehranis visit the park every day, especially in summertime to escape the heat. Their payoff comes when they climb the stone paths and look down on the city below.
Indeed, Jamshidieh provides the much-needed green lung space to the residents of the Capital.
