Bisotun, a newly restored traditional hotel in Kermanshah, will soon join the Laleh hotels group, public relations office of Iran Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) announced. Managing director of ITDC Gholam Hossein Hosseini visited Bisotun, and evaluated the project’s progress. The hotel has been converted from a Safavid caravanserai, and enlisted as a national monument. It is now being revamped into a five-star hotel which will open in late May. “To join Laleh hotels group and enter a long-term cooperation agreement with the corporation, the facilities should meet certain standards,” Hosseini said, adding that some buildings and complexes, constructed or under construction, are not qualified to house tourists.
