Iran’s junior mixed shooting pair grabbed the first silver medal in the history of the mixed shooting team at the 52nd International Shooting Sport Federation World Championships in Changwon, South Korea, on Wednesday.
Armina Sadeghian and Amir-Mohammad Nekounam scored 497.7 points in the finals of the 10m air rifle mixed team to grab the silver after the champion Italy, according to the results on the official website of the games.
Sofia Benetti and Marco Suppini of Italy won gold with 499 points and set a new juniors world record. Sherya Agarwal and Singh Divyansh Panwar from India finished third.
