On the first day of Hungarian Greco-Roman Grand Prix “Polyák Imre Memorial,” in Györ, Hungary, Iranian wrestlers bagged three medals on Saturday.
Mohsen Hajipour in the 63kg category and Yousef Qaderian in 82kg won gold, while Ali Arsalan took a bronze medal, IRNA wrote.
After resting in the first round, Hajipour went on the mat against Serbian wrestler Nadj Tamas and emerged as the victor. He defeated Krisztian Istvan Vanzca from the host country in the second clash and became finalist against the Egyptian Hassan Hassan Ahmed Mohamed.
In a challenging contest, Hajipour won 3-2 and saw the gold around his neck. Urmatbek Amatov of Kyrgyzstan won bronze.
