Grandmaster Maghsoodloo Dominates Masters Cup

Young grandmaster of Iran Parham Maghsoodloo stood first in the second Sharjah Masters International Championships in Sharjah, the UAE, on Friday.
His points were enough to acquire the gold medal with one last match to spare, IRNA reported.
On his path to victory, Maghsoodloo beat Chao Sun of China with the rating of 2041; Nutakki Priyanka from India with 1975 rating, Russian grandmaster Vladislav Artemiev rated 2071, Wang Hao Chinese Grandmaster rated 2707, SP Sethuraman of India rated 2631, and the  grandmaster from the UK, Gawain Jones, among other grandmasters.
