Spanish club Levante also returns for the second year running while Italian debutant DomusBet BS Catania completes the line-up.
Yazd has a whale of share in the domestic beach soccer league with three teams representing the central province: Moghavemate Golsapoosh, Eefa Ceram and Kavir-e Ardakan.
In the first edition of the four-club tournament Portuguese giant Sporting, Spain’s Levante, Russian champion Lokomotiv and Iran’s Moghavemate Golsapoosh were in the battle in March of last year.
Located in central Iran, the historical city of Yazd is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2017.
