Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestlers from Iran took five medals at the XXII Outstanding Ukrainian Wrestlers and Coaches Memorial in Kiev, February 23-25.

In the freestyle division, Kamran Qasempour grabbed the gold medal in the 86kg category. In the final game he defeated Richard Perry from the US, according to the score sheet on United World Wrestling website.

The bronze medal of 79kg class went to Mohammad Mottaqinia. In the overall ranking in the freestyle category Iran stood in the sixth place.

Greco-Roman wrestlers were more successful. Peyman Poshtam in the 77kg class beat Mateusz Lukasz Wolny from Poland in the final to win gold.

Wrestler in the 72kg group Farshad Belfakeh won bronze. Ramin Bastani in the 55kg class won bronze for the Greco-Roman team.
