Pakdaman Takes Bronze  in Fencing World Cup

Fencer Ali Pakdaman received the bronze medal of World Cup Sabre de Wolodyjowski in Warsaw, Poland on Sunday.
Pakdaman lost his last match with Bongil Gu from South Korea who holds the first place of the International Fencing Federation (FIE) to win bronze in the sabre category, FIE.org reported.
Mohammad Abedini, another Iranian fencer defeated his first rival at the games but then faced Pakdaman and lost the match to finish the in 13th place.
Mohammad Rahbari as well as Farhad Baher-Arasbaran were other members of the Iranian squad who failed to win medals.
Gu and Matyas Szabo from Germany came in first and second respectively.
