At a meeting held at the Football Federation of Iran on Monday, the diplomat made known the interest of his country’s football association in playing a warm-up match with Iran, Tasnim News Agency reported.
Iran Football Federation President Mehdi Taj welcomed Biggs’ proposal and said it would be beneficial, but added that Team Melli coach Carlos Queiroz would make the final decision.
