Iran national futsal team has been grouped with Iraq, China and Myanmar in Group C of the 15th Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Futsal Championship.
The 15th edition of the games will kick off on February 1 in Taiwan and run through February 11, Mehr News Agency reported.
Vietnam, which finished fourth at the 14th edition of the games in Uzbekistan 2016, will face off against hosts Taiwan, Malaysia and Bahrain in Group A.
Meanwhile, Group B comprises three-time winners Japan, Uzbekistan, South Korea and Tajikistan.
Thailand, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon and Jordan have been placed in Group D.
In their opening match, Iranians, who have won the title of the competition 11 times, will play Myanmar on Feb. 2. Two days later they will meet China and in their last group match, the national futsal players meet Iraq.
The top two teams in each group will advance to the quarterfinals.
