Para Powerlifters Win 2 Medals in Mexico

Amir Jafari-Arangeh and Yousef Yousefi won two medals for Iran at the World Para Powerlifting Championships, part of Para Sport Festival in Mexico City, on Sunday.
Competing in the 59kg category, Jafari-Arangeh won the silver medal with 187kg and Yousefi claimed the bronze after lifting 182kg, Tasnim News Agency reported.
The 2017 Para Sport Festival features the World Para Swimming Championships and World Para Powerlifting Championships, December 2-8.
The competition was rescheduled from October following the devastating earthquake that hit Mexico City on September 19.
Around 1,200 athletes, officials and staff from 89 countries are at the event.
