Five Iranians Among Top 10 Karatekas

Sajjad Ganjzadeh clinched the top spot in the latest World Karate Federation ranking while four other Iranian karatekas broke into the top ten.
At the conclusion of the last round of the Karate 1-Premier League, the World Karate Federation announced the latest rankings and Ganjzadeh (+84 kg) continues in the top spot  with 3,970 points, Mehr News Agency reported.
The other four Iranians who are among the top ten in the Kumite section are Amir Mehdizadeh (-60 kg), ranked second; Zabihollah Poorshab (-84 kg), in the 6th place; Fatemeh Chalaki (-55 kg), in ninth position and Bahman Asgari (-75 kg) in the same spot as Chalaki.
